SD-Client-policies

We are civil and fair in our business agreements and respect our clients. But, for our own protection, we have to set boundaries for interaction. All Clients of Sexton Design Graphic Services are subject to these Client Policies, and are responsible to check this page for updates on a regular basis. Sexton Design Graphics Services has the right to alter these client policies as we feel it is necessary to do so. Thank you!

Client Payment Policy:

To make things less confusing, there will be no one paying a client invoice but the client, unless they are first approved by a Sexton Design Graphic Services representative, and we have their full contact information to add to the client's profile for sending out the invoices. If you have someone who handles your invoice payment for you, make sure they are approved and added to the invoice profile by one of our staff so that there will not be any additional fees charged.

Hosting Payments:
There is a two week grace period, from the time the invoice is sent out, in which clients have to pay their hosting fee. After this period, a $5.00 late fee will be accessed to the invoice. Clients who make a habit of paying ten days or more, on an average of six months/payments, will have their grace period taken down to five days only.

General Update/Service Payments:
There is a five day grace period, from the time the invoice is sent out, in which clients have to pay their fee. After this period, a $5.00 late fee will be accessed to the invoice. If invoice is not paid after ten days from the time the invoice is sent out, then any updates or changes will be reverted back to their original state and the client will be expected to pay the first invoice, and late fees, before the changes will be restored.

Extensive Update/Service Payments:

There is a twenty-four hour grace period, unless otherwise specified, from the time the invoice is sent out, in which clients have to pay their fee. After this period, a $10.00 late fee will be accessed to the invoice. If invoice is not paid after five days from the time the invoice is sent out, then any updates or changes will be reverted back to their original state and the client will be expected to pay the first invoice, and late fees, before the changes will be restored.

We Use PayPal For Most Of Our Payments:
PayPal is the number one financial transaction service on the internet, and we send out our invoices with PayPal payment buttons on the invoice for our clients ease. We advise all clients to use PayPal, if they don't already, to make payments on their invoices. But, we understand that there are those who still do not feel safe using the internet method to pay for anything, and that is understandable. FreshBooksWe Use Freshbooks For Our Invoicing:
Our organization personally uses FreshBooks for our invoicing. It saves us time, keeps us organized, and really helps us be more professional. It's like Quickbooks, but online, and we love it!! We can even sink each other's join invoices and expenses ... And better yet... IT'S FREE!! Give it a try by clicking on the ad to the left! You won't regret it.



Non-staff/Non-affiliate Site Access Policy:

We are sorry, but we pride ourselves in protecting our clients websites. To insure this, there will be no access, to any Sexton Design hosted or developed website, granted to any non-staff, or, at most, non-affiliate of Sexton Design Graphic Services, for any website augmentation, code changes, or otherwise any outside services that need to be completed for a client. Interaction between Sexton Design staff and the outside service representative is a must. Any service instructions may be exchanged through a Sexton Design representative and the outside service representative, and the changes, if warranted, will be made by one of our staff. This will be a time charged fee only, unless graphics, modules, or other charged elements will need to be made for the service to be in effect.

Client Author TutoringClients, or website owners, who wish for access to their websites for page updates, may take the 3-hour instructional tutoring service offered by our staff. This shall, after a period of assessment, award the client/website owner with limited access as a page author only. Special Rate Website Packages Policy:
      The Difference That Being A Client Makes... 

Our policy, on website packages that have been offered at rates that are not reflective of the full price, states that the price remains at that reduced level only as the client stays with Sexton Design hosting and services for a minimum of one full year.

After one full year as a Sexton Design Client, using our outstanding hosting services on our managed and dedicated servers, and keeping up on any hosting fees and the like as a client in good standing, Sexton Design will then release a client's website at the reduced price for which they paid, as long as it is paid up at that time.

But, in order to retain ownership of your site and leave Sexton Design as your principal service and hosting provider before that one year minimum time is up, you are expected to pay the difference of the price reflected in your discounted fee and the full price of the website package you were given. 

Graphic Design Policy:

We also pride ourselves in the quality of the graphics and designs that we do for our clients, as well as prospective clients. We stand on protecting our clients on this, but also ourselves. To insure this, any graphics and/or website design examples are copyright © 2012, Sexton Design Graphic Services, and may not be used for any reason without the express written consent of Sexton Design Graphic Services. Any graphics and/or website designs published by Sexton Design Graphic Services remain the property of Sexton Design Graphic Services until paid in full by the client, whereas all rights will then be signed over to the client, except for creation rights. Sexton Design Graphic Services will retain the right, as creators, to use any designs, websites, logos, and all other created materials, published or unpublished, as examples of our work.

Client Online/Email Contract Policy:

In order to maintain our respectable client relations, we have made it easy to be a contracted client of Sexton Design Graphic Services. Email agreements are now applicable in court as binding contracts, and your email address is also treated like your electronic signature. This makes it easy and hassle-free for clients of Sexton Design! If you request for us to do a service for you via email, we can now fulfill our obligation to our clients without the timely, annoying wait of faxes, and worse,  snail-mail service. Now, all you have to do is approve it by email, and then we'll get it done and invoice you!

We reserve the right, by law, to fulfill our client's requests in this manner, and for their protection, we will respect them in the same way. We're all human, and every now and then we make mistakes, or even forget. So, if we do not fulfill what we have said that we would in an email, just forward the email to us as a reminder and we'll honor it.
