The USS Blackfoot is a Tomahawk Class Attack Fighter that was brought aboard Grandeur to be used on her many reconnaissance away missions, that often puts Grandeur in danger. The Ship was fashioned, then updated and changed from a class of ship known as the Bonzi Class (Author/Mesher unknown)
Besides over all texturing and many design elements that made up the detail changes the Blackfoot has been equipped to handle three interchangeable aft attached pods designed for various types of missions.
The 3 inter-changable Pods
3rd Nacelle: The third nacelle can be attached to blackfoot when the mission requires a sleek fighter craft to have great speed, power and high maneuverability. Getting in to a location for pick up or delivery ect and getting out fast,
Sensor Pod: The Blackfoot has a very good system for obtaining data that is important, however sometimes the mission requires that extra edge of sensitivity to highly classified materials, images and over all data. The Sensor pod can extract information from a farther distance, where as the ship does not have to be as close to its target or planet destination and thus can stay out of harms way. A more crude late 20th century comparison may be to the awax planes they launched from aircraft carriers when they needed sensitive material at that time.
Weapons Pod: The weapons pod is used when the ship is required to go into very hostile territory where there is better then a 70 perchance chance that extreme firepower will be needed.
The blackfoot has twin phaser cannons just on the inside of the port and starboard nacelles. The weapons pod adds additional firepower in the way of regular torpedo that can shoot from all sides if necessary, and quantum torpedoes that shoot straight ahead from the center of the winged shaped pod.
