OBJECTIVE:
Grandeur is to regular Starfleet ships as Special Forces are to regular military. It's fast, powerful, lethally armed and as versatile as possible. Our heavier fire power and stronger armor/defensive capabilities keep us in the fight longer then most other ships. Our purpose is to carry out dangerous and unusual missions that other ships just aren't suited for. i.e.; delivering medical or wartime supplies during combat, relaying highly sensitive information, or protecting vital technologies detrimental to federation existence to name a few.
She is one of several that belongs to a special division named the Interstellar Federation Taskforce (IFT) and is distinguished by an NFC (Non-Fleet Commission) registry number rather than NCC, due to the fact that she is Federation sanctioned but not part of Starfleet herself.
